    • Responsible for ordering of product, merchandise and displays for all brands/categories.
    • Issue all POs in QB for Management Approval.
    • Issue all POs to Suppliers.
    • Tracks and expedites all POs.
    • Manages and Tracks Supplier Lead times.
    • Logistics coordinator between Factory, Freight Forwarder and BBB Warehouse.
    • Identifies and sources new merch suppliers and seeking the best quality for the lowest price: find it and buy it.
    • Develops performance targets for suppliers to ensure a competitive sourcing environment.
    • Tracks quality and cost savings.
    • Assists in negotiating pricing and terms with factories.
    • Assists in negotiating return, rework, and expedited shipping costs with suppliers for non-conforming or late deliveries.
    • Maintains approved suppliers list for all categories.
    • Set up new items and maintain data control in QuickBooks.
    • Updates min inventory levels in QB based on rate of Sale and input from Demand Planning .
    • Issues UPCs from GS1.
    • Works directly with Accounting to resolve cost-related issues and close out POs.
    • Any additional tasks as needed.

    • Experience in Purchasing and Logistics.
    • Experience communicating with Beauty/Personal Care supply base in Asia a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to produce an analysis of varied supplier proposals and present the most beneficial to management.
    • Strong math and computer skills; MS Office Word and Excel proficient. QB experience a plus.
    • Strong critical thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple programs, daily activities, and work team assignments concurrently.
    • Must be organized and detail oriented.
    • Must be comfortable at communicating and keeping a professional relationship with suppliers.
    • BS in Business/Operations or equivalent work experience.
